Thanks for baring with me…
We had some issues during the show Sunday due to a new computer I am using…so thanks to those who hung in with me. I’m excited about this coming Sunday because Shane Cooley will be returning to the show. He has a new ep that he will be introducing so I hope you tune in.
The Sunday next, Kevin So will be coming in from Nashville…he is touring behind his new cd and we’ll be talking to him about that.
Thanks again for listening and I’ll be back with you next Sunday.

Well, so much for Sunday…
5/18/9–Well, unfortunately Sunday’s acoustic session with Doug MacLeod experienced technical difficulties and I was unable to air it. Likewise, my interview with David Wilcox did not happen because he was late getting to his show. Ah, so much for the problems of live radio… Luckily I will still have a guest this Sunday as Matt Thomas, a local acoustic guitar maestro, returns to the show.
Don’t forget the show is On-Demand on this site and WHRV.org. We also keep updating the concert calendar on this site.
Thanks to the Virginia Arts Festival for its support of the show. Hope you can check out their upcoming show with Emmy Lou Harris, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin and Buddy Miller at the Ferguson Center.
Take care and thanks for listening,
Hunter

What a fine Mother’s Day…
Hope everyone had a good Mother’s Day..we were pleased to have a visit from Gayla Robinson from Chesapeake. She was one of the co-winners of the Sea Level Singer-Songwriter Contest…next Sunday, acoustic blues artist Doug MacLeod visits the show and the following weekend, we hope to have David Wilcox.
We’re adding more shows to the concert calendar…this week we should have the line up for the Bayou Boogaloo in Norfolk.
Remember that, in addition to being streamed on this website, hunteratsunrise.com, Hunter at Sunrise is also heard on whrv.org, radioNtenna.fm, i-tunes, and shoutcast. Or you can listen on a digital radio to 89.5 WHRV, digital channel 3.
The show is also on-demand on this website and whrv.org.
Thanks and hope you check us out this Sunday…
