Hope you’ll come see us at Harborfest…
6/29/9–I will be hosting the Hard Rockfish Cafe all weekend at this year’s Harborfest. The stage features national artists, Livingston Taylor and Dave Barnes, regional favorites, The Famous Unknowns, and a whole slew of great local artists in a very intimate setting. Hope you’ll stop by and say Hi.
I will also have more information soon on a new listening room that I am going to be involved with inside Waterside.
In the meantime, don’t forget that hunteratsunrise.com has an extensive concert calendar. Hope you’ll check it out.
Take care,
Hunter

The Summer is getting busy..
6/22/9–Thanks to Matt Thomas for a great acoustic session on Sunday…he just keeps getting better and better every time he’s on..I will be featuring his new cd, The Struggle, as the summer goes forward.
I have agreed to host a tent down at Harborfest this year and I hope many of you will come down and say hello. Also there are other Festevent projects that Hunter At Sunrise will be involved with this summer. Stay tuned for more.
Remember we are on-demand on this website and at whrv.org.
All for now,
Hunter

Server problems…
6/15/9- My apologies to those of you who might have tuned to hunteratsunrise.com this past Sunday expecting to hear the show and finding the website down. It seems we are having server issues. I hope everyone knows that when the website is down, you can still hear the show at whrv.org. This coming Sunday, guitarist, Matt Thomas, returns to the show and he is bringing his harp guitar.
Don’t forget we are on demand at this website and at whrv.org.
Thanks,
Hunter

A Special Thanks…
6/7/9–A Special thanks to everyone involved in this past Sunday’s live video streaming on this website. It was a pleasure working with the WHRO/WHRV IT, production and engineering departments…they did such a great job. And I cannot say enough about the Hunter At Sunrise webmaster, Mike Rau.. his knowledge and expertise were really on display. And thanks to Kevin So for a great performance and for being so flexible. You really should pick up his new cd “Best Foot Forward”.
Next Sunday, Dana Alexandra from Philadelphia, will be on the show…she is playing this Thursday at the Jewish Mother with her band.
Thanks to all who watched our stream, and thus, were a part of local radio history.
Take care,
HH

Well, I think We are All Ready to Go…
6/5/9- After much testing and re-configuring, I think we are ready for Sunday’s first ever radio, live video stream on this website and on whrv.org. Again, I ask that if you watch the live video stream to please let me know how it rendered on your computer by emailing me. We are trying to test this for future use. Let me know what system you are using and how it looked.
Really looking forward to Kevin So being on the show…and the fact you will be able to watch him as well as hear him just makes it that more special.
So get ready…we are making Hampton Roads radio history on Sunday.
Take care,
Hunter
