It's a program dedicated to laying down a laid back vibe for your Sunday morning. There's new music, there's very old music...there's acoustic rock, jazz, blues, americana, celtic, new age, folk, electronica, R & B, anything that will fit into a mix that takes you away from the stress of the work week (singer/songwriters and local artists are welcome). I take the saying "A quiet place between last week and this week" very seriously. If there's commentary on current events, I let the music do it. But, in short, the show is designed for relaxation. I try to have an acoustic session each week with a National, Regional or Local Artist. |

Singer-songwriter, Catie Curtis, will visit Norfolk on Sept 18th and headline the main stage at the Acoustic Music Festival that runs from 12p to 10p in Town Point Park. This is the 5th year of the festival which began as the Sunrise to Sunset Acoustic Music Festival. This will be the first time the festival will be held on a Saturday. Curtis is a veteran songwriter with 10 discs to her credit. More about
local favorite Karl Werne on the Main Stage. Kevin is getting ready to release a new live album this fall and Karl has been working with the ensemble, Big Wide Grin, on a new disc. Joining forces, they will provide the perfect opener for Catie Curtis. More about
