Joe Maniscalco Benefit Postponed Until February 21st Due to Weather
A talented musician onstage, Maniscalco has been sidelined during the past four months by health issues caused, in part, by second-hand smoke inhaled during his 30+ years performing in public venues. (Maniscalco never smoked himself.). The outcome this year for Maniscalco has been a week in ICU (pneumonia) and a torn retina (four times). The torn retina, most likely, was caused by the high fever and/or high dose of steroids administered to fight the pneumonia. Unable to work from the end of September through December, he is now also dealing with mounting medical bills. (Actually, the health situation began about one and a half years ago and last winter he was sidelined for about four months with similar problems, also caused by second-hand smoke.) The fundraiser promises a memorable afternoon of music, dancing and games to help pay for some of the expenses associated with Maniscalco's illness. For Artists and Schedule Click Read More
Welcome to HunterAtSunrise.com...Hunter At Sunrise is Streamed Live Right Here Every Sunday From 7-11amAbout Hunter At Sunrise: I must say I find it hard to describe Hunter At Sunrise as a radio show. It's a program dedicated to laying down a laid back vibe for your Sunday morning. There's new music, there's very old music...there's acoustic rock, jazz, blues, americana, celtic, new age, folk, electronica, R & B, anything that will fit into a mix that takes you away from the stress of the work week (singer/songwriters and local artists are welcome). I take the saying "A quiet place between last week and this week" very seriously. If there's commentary on current events, I let the music do it. But, in short, the show is designed for relaxation. I try to have an acoustic session each week with a National, Regional or Local Artist. |
