Peter Bradley Adams to Headline Acoustic Music Festival in Town Point Park Sept. 17th

pbaPeter Bradley Adams will take the main stage at the 6th annual Acoustic Music Festival on Saturday Sept. 17th capping off a day of regional and local acoustic music.

Before embarking on his solo career in 2005, Adams was a founding member of the critically acclaimed folk/pop duo eastmountainsouth.

Within a year of forming the band in 2001 with Kat Maslich Bode, they were signed by Robbie Robertson to DreamWorks Records with their self-titled debut becoming a critical hit.

They toured extensively for the next year and a half with the likes of Lucinda Williams, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman and Nelly Furtado. Their single, “You Dance” was a #1 AAA radio hit in 2003. DreamWorks Records was subsequently sold to Universal Music Group in October 2003 and eastmountainsouth was no more.

Peter's songs and music from eastmountainsouth (as well as solo) have appeared in over 30 films and television shows in the US. Years later sales of eastmountainsouth’s self-titled and only release rank in the top 20 in Amazon.com sales under the Alternative Folk category. Meanwhile Adams has released 4 solo albums in the last 6 years. For more on Peter Bradley Adams, click HERE.
