It has been years since Thelma Peterson has graced our show. So we are very excited about her visit this Sunday on the heals of the release of her new album, The Pull of the Moon.  Originally from Norfolk, Thelma now resides on the Eastern Shore where she paints and writes songs that reflect the Shore's continuing connection to the Bay and the Sea. Hunter At Sunrise welcomes some acoustic reggae music to the show for the first time this Sunday morning. The local reggae band, Of Zion, will be paying the show a visit.  The Suffolk band's core is made up of Nic Robertson (guitar), Brian Thomas (bass) , and Jo Smith (percussion). We'll be talking to them about their plan to produce an EP this year. Hope you'll join us as Hunter At Sunrise escapes to the Carribean this Sunday with a live acoustic session with Of Zion.

Hunter At Sunrise Welcomes Luca Burgalassi For His First Visit This Sunday Morning

Hunter at Sunrise is happy to have Luca Burgalassi of Yorktown on the show for the first time for an acoustic session. He will be the first native Italian to visit the program. Luca is a multi-instrumentalist, music teacher and performer who had a solo release in 2015 called Shadows and Fragments. Master Guitarist Tommy Emmanuel Returns to Hunter At Sunrise This Sunday Morning

We are so excited this week because one of the best, if not THE best, acoustic guitarists in the world, Tommy Emmanuel, will be on our show this Sunday. Tommy was just in town recently with master mandolinist, David Grisman, and we got to sit down back stage with him for an acoustic session and interview.  Tommy has produced album after album of incredible guitar work. His latest, Pickin', features him and Grisman at clearly their eclectic best.
